It was evening when i finally rubbed my eyes open. i saw the fan running with its suave slow motion as i sank a bit more in the folds of my quilt...Ah! Heaven it is, and you can never have enough!
I looked out of the window to see the setting evening. Stars already lined the sky. So many of them twinkled and gleamed. I wondered which of them had risen first...i wondered what ray that touched the night was its....
Only if i could distinguish my star from the rest! I do not stargaze :) aint a hobby. A dear friend does & knows enough to have me gaping at the skies eyes wide open with awe...
Sometimes i feel like fathoming the depths of the sky...rightly said, the skies are deep and they beckon for a plunge....Sitting quietly and looking at the skies in the quiet of the night, i see so many of them, the stars...I do not like to distinguish among planets and stars. Somehow stars fascinate me, so I call them all stars! Ha, that hardly made sense.
I do not look for shapes in the skies. I do not look for shooting stars, and if i see one, i smile instinctively though i do remember making a wish or two recently... :)
Somehow the stars know what i think of and twinkle as if nodding in acknowledgment... I like them! But i wonder who is the leader of the gang! Unlike us, they do not vary in size(height/mass) with age & they are too away to have faces. I do not know...and i have no chances of becoming an astronaut nemore...
But I know, I will find my first star one day!!!
