What if...?

If I never awake to see the light
Of another day of my life so bright...
The very thought induces a fear;
Oh! What shall be when I amn't there...

The sun shall shine, the stars twinkle
The rivers go on with their endless ripples
The moon shall wax, the moon shall wane
The Earth shall spin with its joys and pain

The flowers shall bloom, soft breeze shall blow,
The 'mother' the earth with beauty bestow,
All life on earth shall thus go on
Unperturbed when I am gone...

But somewhere a tear & someplace a pain
And somewhere a breach in that endless chain
That chain which binds our human hearts
Whose each lil link matters; is a part

Shall stay till time shall wean away,
The scars left deep in bosoms dismayed...

T'is but in thought that mortals perish
And as I muse I have a silent wish
I wish to live in the hearts I love
And wish to seek from the heavens above,
The Joy of love- The bliss on Earth
Of quaint existence in His spreading mirth...
